Seeing Red Over U-Verse Move To Drop ESPN3D
September 3rd 2011 19:56
I was SO looking forward to this college football season.
Especially with the ability to watch games in 3D thanks to a fairly expensive set I purchased early in the summer.
Well ... I can forget it!
Without warning my provider, U-Verse, pulled the plug on ESPN3D just prior to the season claiming there were not enough subscribers to warrant providing the channel.
I am NOT happy, even with the Starz movie channel adding four 3D movies to its package.
After watching taped sports over and over, and enjoying them on ESPN 3D, I wanted the thrill of watching live events.
Now I can't, or won't be able to.
It seems to me U-Verse should have either slashed the price to $5 per month or raised it to $15 to cover their costs.
This is a nation of choices, after all, and I now have one less one to make.
Or maybe one more to make, drop U-Verse perhaps.
