New messages from government and officals are comming in about the dangers of the new energy saving light bulbs which contain alarmingly high levels of mercury. If these light bulbs had hands they'd most likely go around punching dolphins and the elderly.
Now with that said I am going straight back to those nasty old fashioned guzzling ones. I know the new ones are really dangerous though. One broke ontop of my housemate yesterday. Today she come home from uni with a bag of pine cones. Now she's standing in front of the mirror cutting chunks out of her hair with kitchen scissors singing the chorus of Starship's 'We built this city', whilst eating the pine cones.
I give this warning a 10 out of 10 Heaps Goods. Stay safe people and remember the governments tips.SUBMIT TO BIG BROTHER. Dispose of energy saving light bulbs properly and take precaution to breaks.
"don't you remember, We built this city, we built this city on rock an' roll" Gosh, she may be nuts but she's still damn catchy...
Energy-saving light bulbs are so dangerous that everyone must leave the room for at least 15 minutes if one falls to the floor and breaks, a Government department warned yesterday.
In addition, it said care should be taken not to inhale any dust and the broken pieces should be put in a sealed plastic bag for disposal at a council dump ? not a normal household bin.
The startling alert came as health experts also warned that toxic mercury inside the bulbs can aggravate a range of problems including migraines and dizziness.
